What We Do

AG KIDS is a nonprofit organization that teaches children about agriculture, sustainability, and healthy living through hands-on farming and educational programs. We bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application, helping young minds understand where their food comes from and how they can contribute to a more sustainable future.

Our comprehensive approach combines traditional agricultural knowledge with modern sustainable practices, ensuring children develop both practical skills and environmental awareness. Through interactive workshops, farm visits, and seasonal growing projects, we create memorable learning experiences that inspire lifelong connections to the land and healthy living.

Our Educational Programs

Hands-On Farming

Students get their hands dirty learning planting, cultivation, and harvest techniques. From seed to table, children experience the complete growing cycle while developing responsibility and patience.

Sustainability Education

We teach composting, water conservation, and eco-friendly farming methods. Children learn how their choices impact the environment and discover practical ways to live more sustainably.

Nutrition & Wellness

Our programs connect healthy eating with fresh, locally-grown produce. Kids learn about nutrition, food preparation, and making healthy choices that fuel their bodies and minds.

Growing Knowledge Through Experience

Our Mission in Action

Every program we offer is designed around our core mission: Growing knowledge, cultivating futures. We believe that when children understand agriculture and sustainability, they develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world and their role in protecting it.

Through experiential learning, we help young people build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and foster a lifelong love of learning. Our graduates become ambassadors for sustainable practices in their families and communities.

From Seed to Success

Our step-by-step approach ensures comprehensive learning that builds upon itself throughout the growing season.

01

Discovery & Planning

Students learn about different crops, growing seasons, and create their garden plans. They explore soil composition, climate factors, and sustainable growing methods.

02

Planting & Cultivation

Hands-on planting sessions teach proper spacing, depth, and care techniques. Students take ownership of their plots and learn daily maintenance responsibilities.

03

Growth & Maintenance

Regular monitoring, watering, weeding, and pest management teach patience and consistency. Students observe plant development and record growth progress.

04

Harvest & Sharing

The rewarding harvest phase culminates in cooking demonstrations and sharing fresh produce with families. Students experience the joy of farm-to-table eating.
